KCSIE 2023 Training Update PowerPoint and Handout

This free 11-slide PowerPoint contains the key updates to the 2023 KCSIE - filtering and monitoring, definitions around children absent from and missing education and more. The accompanying one-page handout summarises the presentation and can be sent to staff following the session so they have a chance to revisit the material.

 

Please note: This free resource does not replace full safeguarding training about what staff need to know from Part one of Keeping Children Safe in Education; it only covers the updates to this year's KCSIE. It shouldn't replace the initial safeguarding training or level 2 safeguarding refresher training that you offer - it simply enhances it.
