This pack is designed to support effective governance in schools. It contains thirteen editable audit templates (MS Word .docx format); each one will support the relevant link governor or trustee and school leaders to work together and evaluate their setting's current position. This allows further opportunities for growth to be identified as well as enabling the link governor or local board member to gain a deeper understanding about the school's current position, which can then help to inform future strategic decisions that the governing board makes.

Each set of questions could also be used by a school leader and then shared with the relevant link governor afterwards; a helpful section on triangulating evidence is included to support this approach.
